Emmy-nominated producer/director Justin Bookey hails from Seattle, WA, home to Coho salmon and all-weather fabric.  He holds a B.A. in Communications (UCSD), an M.S. in Public Relations (Boston U.), and a law degree (Boston U.).  He has practiced communications law in Washington, D.C., and lived in Tokyo (leading English seminars) and in India (studying its film industry).  He now lives with his wife, two sons, and a leopard gecko in Santa Monica. 

What does Coolbellup mean?

Coolbellup is an Aboriginal name of a town in the far western region of Australia, near Perth.  Loosely translated, it means "northern place of water."  Kind of like Seattle.
